PROTECT YOUR EYESIGHT AND THE SKIN ON YOUR MUG!

Motorcycle riders are always talking about the wind in their face. That is part of the mystic of motorcycle riding to many of the uninformed, but sometimes even hardcore motorcycle riders may not want the wind in their face when they’re riding. Like say during heavily bug infested day. Or maybe on a long cross country trip. Your face can only take so much abuse before starting to look like shoe leather. You don’t want the skin on your face to look like your boots do ya? A permanent windshield like the Windvest windscreen shown being installed here was exactly what I needed for my 1800 mile round trip from Sturgis South Dakota, to Boise Idaho. The Windvest can easily be uninstalled as needed. Installation is so simple even a caveman can do it. So…. I installed it myself on my 2010 Harley-Davidson Dyna-Glide and my face is now happier than it’s been in a long while. I can dismount the Windvest screen when I want to feel the bugs bouncing off my eyeballs, and then quickly re attach the screen as needed to save my eyesight. In South Dakota the bumble bees weigh in at around 12 pounds apiece a sixty miles per hour. If you ride a motorcycle in the black Hills, you need bug protection.

THIS IS A 14″ WINDVEST SMOKED WINDSHIELD KIT FOR DYNA-GLIDE. WINDVEST MAKES A WIDE VARIETY OF WINDSHIELDS FOR ALL MOTORCYCLE MAKES AND MODELS, FORIEGN AND DOMESTIC.

Attach the Windvest mounting clamps to handlebars leaving the hardware slightly loose (wiggle room).

With both clamps mounted and sitting approximately parallel the screen can be mounted using the two holes indicated by the arrows.

Set the Windvest screen assembly onto the brackets, and attach using the hardware included in the Windvest kit.

After tightening the two screen bolts, and adjusting the screen to where you want it (final adjustment can be made after a test ride) tighten the handlebar clamp mounts so they are secure.

The Windvest windshield looks rather attractive on the Dyna Glide motorcycle wouldn’t ya say?

A closer look reveal how the Windvest looks like an integrated styling components of the Dyna-Glide styling posture. That is to say “It looks good!”
