Newly founded but critically acclaimed country duo War Hippies bring their authentic songwriting and electrifying performance to the Wolfman Jack Main Stage on Sunday, Aug. 4. The two man group made up of accomplished solo musicians and U.S. combat veterans Scooter Brown (U.S. Marine Corp) and and Donnie Reis (U.S. Army) will perform songs like “Hang Man,” “Killin’ It,” and “Make it Out Alive” to a freedom-loving audience ahead of the evening’s headliner Travis Tritt.

Call in a “Metal Health” day and Bang Your Head to ’80s metal gods Quiet Riot Monday, Aug. 5. Famously described as the first heavy metal band to top the pop charts, Los Angeles quartet Quiet Riot became an overnight sensation thanks to their monster 1983 smash album “Metal Health”. Their follow-up album, “Condition Critical,” went double platinum, and the band continued to record and tour throughout their 30+ year history. AC/DC fans can celebrate because Noise Pollution pays tribute to the Aussie heavyweights of rock n’ roll. Based in San Diego, Noise Pollution delivers an amazing replication of the AC/DC concert experience from both the Bon Scott and Brian Johnson periods. Fronted by Brian Brown on vocals and Curt Fischer on lead guitar, Noise Pollution presents a chronological look into the music of AC/DC. Because of the monumental nature of AC/DC vocals and guitar work, this is a rare and impressive accomplishment.

Shot of Poison is a group of talented, veteran, rock musicians who’ve created the world’s best tribute to the 35th anniversary of the greatest, hard-rocking, glam-slam party band ever – Poison. Last Train to Juarez was formed in 2019 by Dejan Knezevic who up until that point, spent the majority of his life playing in metal bands in the Phoenix, AZ area. The transition from metal to country occurred several years after Dejan discovered what he refers to as the modern outlaws of country music today.
Last Train to Juarez blends the old traditional sounds of country music with an edge that can be attributed to Dejan’s history of playing in metal bands most his life.

Limberlost is an American rock band from Seattle, WA. Behind the crushing vocals of Krystle and mesmerizing harmonies of Brittany Lauren, the band, consisting of Josh on Guitar, Zhaun on Bass, Anthony on Keys and Michael on Drums, use captivating hooks and tenacious grooves to grab your heart and invade your soul. A troop of 6 vastly different origins who bind together as one, and rise from the mist to permeate every song and performance with passion, love and raw energy!

LILIAC, the ‘First Family of Rock’, is a 5-piece hard rock band from Los Angeles. The band is fronted by Melody, lead guitarist Samuel, drummer Abigail, bassist Ethan and keyboardist Justin. The sibling’s talents were discovered by their dear father, Florin Cristea, also the band’s manager and producer. After many crazy nights, they honed their craft as weekend street performers on the Santa Monica pier. Their sound takes the listener back to a time when rock was complex but told a story! Reverend Horton Heat is a Dallas-based band known for their high-energy blend of rockabilly, psychobilly, and punk rock. Fronted by guitarist and vocalist Jim Heath, the band has been a significant influence in the rockabilly revival movement since the late 1980s. Their live shows are renowned for their intensity and Heath’s virtuosic guitar playing, making them a staple in the alternative and rockabilly music scenes.

Moonshine Bandits are an American country rap duo known for blending country, hip-hop, and rock elements into their music. Formed in 2003, the group gained popularity with their rowdy anthems, party vibes, and collaborations with artists across various genres. They have a dedicated fan base and are known for their energetic live performances and outlaw-themed lyrics.

If you are lookin’ to get “Lit Up”, it’s hard to find a better band to do the job than Buffalo Chip house band Buckcherry. About Easton Corbin
Easton Corbin has been gracing stages with his memorable baritone and unique blend of traditional and modern country music for more than a decade. The Florida native, who boasts two No. 1 singles with “A Little More Country Than That” and “Roll With It,” embarks on a new musical chapter with his recent signing to Stone Country Records. Corbin teams with industry veterans Benny Brown, Paul Brown and Jason Sellers as the label’s flagship artist.

Corbin says he and Music Row mainstay Benny Brown initially met and bonded over their mutual love of traditional country music. No stranger to the writing room himself, Corbin has penned songs with Sellers ahead of signing with the independent label. The singer, who has spent several years as an independent artist following nearly a decade with Mercury Nashville, says he’s in a great position being Stone Country’s flagship artist.

“They let me do what I want to do and let me be me, which is very important,” the singer says.

Corbin’s neotraditional sound shined on his debut label single “I Can’t Decide,” co-written by Corbin with producer Wade Kirby and esteemed writers Ashley Gorley and Rhett Akins. The soaring pedal steel combined with a driving beat and plucked guitar rhythms allows Corbin’s warm baritone to further accentuate the up-tempo song.

The Florida native continues to write with longtime producer Carson Chamberlain as well as Kirby, Shane Minor, Adam Craig and Wyatt McCubbin, who he penned the romantic wedding ode and current radio single “Marry That Girl” with. Corbin says the past three years have allowed him to focus more seriously on writing music and finding the message he wants to convey to listeners on his forthcoming project.

“It’s about being authentic and that’s what I always focus on when I write or record,” he says. “I keep one foot in traditional and one foot in the modern and marry those two. That’s really been my motto through the years.”

And he’s had a successful time doing so. Throughout his career, Corbin has amassed seven top 10 singles and three American Country Awards. Named Billboard’s 2010 Top New Country Artist, Corbin has never shied away from his traditional roots with Your Big Sky complimenting his “unapologetic and unwavering traditional country sound.” His self-titled debut album was named Country Breakthrough Album of the Year by iTunes Rewind Best of 2010 while American Songwriter has complimented the singer’s “warm, smooth-as-gravy-southern drawl.”

Along the way, Corbin hasn’t forgotten his roots. The young boy who grew up listening to Merle Haggard and George Jones with his grandparents remembers where he came from.

“I do love traditional country music,” he says. “That sound is what drew me to country music as a genre. One of my very first records was a Merle Haggard album when I was a kid. The way he delivered a song, the emotion in his songwriting and in his voice, he was just the whole package.”

Corbin most recently released his album Let’s Do Country Right – his first in eight years. The 14-song feat is a collection of new, yet-to-be-heard tunes, as well as previously released songs, like Corbin’s current radio single and streaming hit “Marry That Girl.” Since releasing with DSPs, the romantic ode has organically amassed an impressive 55 million+ streams collectively, and was featured on hit FOX reboot Joe Millionaire: For Richer or Poorer.
On radio impact, it was the No. 2 most added song by country stations, and was featured in a live performance by top daytime talk show The Kelly Clarkson Show, as well as fan-favorite syndicated iHeart radio show The Bobby Bones Show. Laced with Corbin’s warmly familiar baritone vocals, and layered with the true-to-his-roots production fans and radio love, the record offers something for everyone.

“The record is a good mixture of that up-tempo and midtempo songs along with a few ballads here and there,” he says of Let’s Do Country Right.

Over the 29 years and over 4500 shows since ZOSO came together as a group in the mid-‘90s, the seemingly tireless quartet continues to earn its well-deserved reputation as being, in the words of The L.A. Times, “head and shoulders above all other Led Zeppelin tributes.”

The reasons for that are manifest. For starters, surely no singer has ever captured the distinctive timbre, range, power, and seductive force of Robert Plant’s vocal delivery as adroitly as ZOSO’s lead vocalist and founder, Matt Jernigan, whose flowing, corkscrew blonde locks and leonine stage moves evoke the Plant persona perfectly.

ZOSO co-founder Adam Sandling, the band’s multi-instrumental master of electric bass, keyboards, and mandolin, likewise echoes John Paul Jones’ myriad gifts to a tee, allowing the four-piece ZOSO to perform fully fleshed-out versions of classics like “Kashmir,” “Trampled Under Foot,” and “Stairway to Heaven” that demand up to six members or more to execute in other Zep-inspired ensembles.

That’s not the ZOSO way; instead, the band draws liberally and meticulously from Led Zeppelin’s recorded live output to present a vivid performance picture of the classic live Zeppelin of 1970-1977. No wonder the St. Petersburg Times noted that, in addition to their virtuosity and spot-on visual presentation, ZOSO was also “the most exacting of all the Led Zeppelin tributes.”

Meanwhile, the band’s new blood has turbo-charged the ZOSO formula even more. Drummer Bevan Davies, the band’s burly, black-haired batteur since 2015, flattens the band’s fans nightly with his Bonham-approved triplet blasts, tympani thunder, and fat, lumbering grooves. Davies boasts an impressive pedigree that includes touring tenures with the likes of Danzig, Jerry Cantrell of Alice In Chains, Static X, and regular gigs with The Cult’s Billy Duffy.

Taking on the demanding Jimmy Page chair for ZOSO in May of 2021, new lead guitarist James Volpe Rotondi (aka “Jimmy”) brings an equally high-level CV to the table, as a former member of Humble Pie, Mike Patton’s Mr. Bungle, and French superstars AIR. Decked out in Page’s iconic dragon matador jacket, two-tone shoes, and cascading black hair, Rotondi wields his Gibson Les Paul and double-neck guitars like he was born to it, with a huge, crafted tone and a stunning technique that weaves together Page’s roots in blues, country, funk, and fingerstyle.
