Echo Pilot

Echo Pilot is a four piece alternative rock band that draws heavy influence from 90s/00s alternative rock (Foo Fighters, Green Day, Jimmy Eat World, The Smashing Pumpkins, Queens of the Stone Age). The band was started in 2018 by Ryan Van Abeele (lead vocals/rhythm guitar) and after some time formulating the line up and sound, Andrew Stuart Howsmon (bass/backing vocals), Aaron Smith (lead guitar), and Dan Russell (drums) have all joined to round out the band.

Echo Pilot released its debut album ‘A Day Like This’ on June 17th, 2022 and the follow up ‘Notion’ on February 28th, 2025. The albums are available for streaming on all major platforms along with CDs of ‘A Day Like This’ and vinyl pressings of ‘Notion’. The band is consistently growing their fanbase across all streaming and social media outlets, along with receiving rave reviews from do615 Magazine, Music Crowns, Rock Oracle, Buzz Slayers, and That Chick Krys’ digital blog. Along with this, their songs have seen innumerable spins on radio stations like Nashville’s 102.9 The Buzz, Lightning 100, Asylum Network, Hypernova Radio in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, KSSU Radio at Sacramento State University, and WSRR in Cleveland, OH.

A no nonsense and high energy show should be expected that is filled with catchy anthemic vocal melodies, blistering guitar work and an unrelenting rhythm section. Whether Echo Pilot is playing for 20 people or 20k, rest assured, they will give the same powerhouse performance every time.
